The business was founded 50 years ago and started in Bude. It took off and soon the shells were flying out of a shed and we needed more space and so took on a small unit in his home town. We started looking to expand the types of shells we could buy and sell and searched abroad. Soon abalone and other shell fish were being imported and we were becoming well known in our field. The business grew and if you bought a shell at the seaside there was a good chance it had been cleaned and sold by our little business in Cornwall.
Although over the years we have expanded we are still only 2 miles from where it all started over 50 years ago.
Payment policy
We accept Paypal, credit cards or personal cheques.
Delivery information
Our aim is to dispatch all orders placed before 14:00 within 48 hours of receiving the order. Orders placed after 14:00 or at weekends will be processed the next working day. For UK orders, goods should normally be received within 5 working days. Overseas orders should normally be received within 10 working days. We will usually use Royal Mail or a secure courier service for delivery of goods to UK mainland addresses. Whilst we will make every effort to deliver within the time stated on our website, we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery. Please notify us as soon as possible either by telephone or email if you do not receive your goods within a reasonable time. We will endeavour to get your goods to you as soon as possible or you may cancel your order and obtain a refund. We will attempt to deliver your order to your delivery address. If products are returned to us as undeliverable, we shall refund the price of the products less the Shipping
Return policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases. Please let us know if you are not entirely satisfied with our products or our service, so that we can rectify the situation.
Items are described and photographed as accurately as possible, but please note that sizes, colours and designs may vary. If you are not completely satisfied with any item you ordered, just return it, if possible in the original packaging (with your customer advice note) within 14 days of the date of receipt and we will refund your money or send you a replacement - no questions asked.
